Video Powers Fuel Up to Play 60

My name is Jesse Albro and I am a Client Services Manager.  As one of the “Video Gurus,” here at Flimp Media.  One of my key roles is working closely with our FlimpAgency team to  ensure we produce and create the best possible video content for clients.  Our goal is to create video content that aligns specifically with a project’s unique requirements and budget scope.

In addition to producing business, marketing, explainer, and communications videos, Flimp also specializes in creating cost-effective event marketing videos.  The Content Marketing Institute recently identified event marketing videos as one the five types of video content ideal for web video marketing. Specifically:

An event video is a powerful marketing tool (especially when it doesn’t contain a script) because it’s inherently more trustworthy than a well-written promo. While no product is being marketed, per sé, well-made event video content that highlights the best parts of a given evening can convey a depth of information about your company, product, and culture that is unrivaled by practically any other type of business video.

Event videos should show, not tell. When done correctly, there’s no better way to tap target engagement. For example, take some time to think about the type of consumer Harley Davidson targets, and then watch this event video:

Most recently, Flimp Media had the pleasure of working with the NFL and the New England Dairy & Food Council to create an event video in support of the  Fuel Up to Play 60 initiative.  Fuel Up to Play 60 is a national program sponsored by the NFL and the National Dairy Council created to encourage healthful eating and physical activity among school aged children.  The event video we produced focused on New England Patriots Defensive Back Devin McCourty. Devin spoke to students at the Clough Elementary School in Mendon, Massachusetts about the merits of healthful eating and staying active.

The event was a tremendous success, captured and edited into video content by the Flimp team.  You can view the event video here:

While hiring a basic photographer to document an event is useful in it’s own right, capturing the moment with video and compiling an engaging event marketing video is a far step beyond a gallery of still images.  A marketing event video best captures not only the event, but the message, spirit and tone of that event, which is why you chose to host it in the first place.  If a picture is worth 1,000 words a video then must surely be worth… okay, I won’t burden you with bad puns, but you see what I am getting at.

In all seriousness, oftentimes organizations are under the impression that producing an event marketing video (or any video for that matter) is a very expensive and resource consuming endeavor. It often comes as a pleasant surprise to clients when they learn the level of flexibility that Flimp Agency is able to offer in terms of production and pricing, and realizing the long-term value of the video for numerous purposes, such as marketing, sales, fundraising and education, and distribution through any marketing channel, such as social media, websites, and microsites.

Event planners put a lot of working into planning events, so why not give us a call?  We’d love to learn more about what your planning and how we can help make the event go leaps and bounds beyond it’s official end time with creative video!
